Congrats to David Tamaoka, who will be releasing his long-awaited debut album, “Canefield Hero,” on October 20. One of the biggest natural talents to come out of Hawaii, David has opened for the likes of Jason Mraz, 311, Blink 182 and Mae, and recently rocked Austin, Texas at this year’s South by Southwest Music Festival. “My music is the stuff that flows out of me when my heart is moved,” the former frontman of pop/punk band Pennylane says of his music. “My songs range from heart baring confessions to just plain fun indulgence. I’m inspired by relationship dynamics — tension, joy, love, lust, sorrow, triumph — all that”.
David will be promoting his release with a series of live performances around town.
