Chinatown went off for another First Friday! The only place to get blown up and tow up was Next Door! The Deadbeats rocked the house, and Nicky Savage of Fiero Music Los Angeles and deejays Hot Muffins raged. The night also featured Next Door blowup residents: Capecod, Miko Francconi and Kowai Kowai.

Contrary to what most people thought, this was supposed to be our official launch party for our premiere issue. Something, somewhere got lost in translation, and many people were confused…Nevertheless, it was an amazing time at KA Restaurant & Lounge in Ward Center. Balloons and champagne bottles were poppin’ all night long. David Tamaoka and Yoza entertained guests, Ka provided yummy pupus and Korbel and Chambord mixed it up all evening. Patrons had the chance to purchase raffle balloons to raise money for Haiti Relief, AND had a chance to win a slew of amazing prizes, like a kindle, Acer laptop, Apple iTouch, and gift certificates from Crystal Clear Auto Detailing, Lulus Waikiki and Apartment3.
