On November 12, you can help put a shirt on poverty. In conjunction with PNOY Apparel, top Filipino emcees Bambu, Geo of Blue Scholars, Kiwi, Mic3, Seph1 and Creed Chameleon will put on a fundraiser concert at Fresh Cafe with proceeds to benefit the Shirt The Kids Foundation.
Shirt The Kids’ mission is to motivate the youth and aspiring leaders to raise awareness about continuously growing populations of impoverished children in the Philippines. It is about providing information, encouraging everyone to react, and to facilitate a helping hand.
In a world where many struggle with luxuries, there are families and children who struggle with necessities. The term “Shirt” in STK is not just about providing a piece of clothing. STK also aspires to foster an environment in order for children to succeed in poverty-stricken countries.
