As a sign of the growing retail movement in Honolulu’s Chinatown, more than a dozen small businesses have banded together to take part in the second annual Downtown Shop-Around. Beginning at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Black Friday, November 25, holiday shoppers looking for unique gifts that they just can’t find anywhere else will be privy to a host of sales, trunk shows, and special one-day-only events.
Now home to an ever-growing multitude of galleries, boutiques, and restaurants, Chinatown is quickly becoming a hub for independent retailers carrying truly unique merchandise. If you’re looking for a gift that’s as special as the person you’re shopping for, look no further than Chinatown this Black Friday.
