The Friends of the Makiki Library will host an Open House on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from noon- 4pm at the Makiki Library, located in Makiki Parkfrom noon- 4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
The Friends of Makiki Community Library encourages the community to visit the only library in the Makiki area, run by volunteers outside of the state library system. In the future, the FMCL is planning more community involvement and is seeking to expand both the visibility of the library as well as its use by appropriate organizations that further its mission.
