The Analog Sunshine Recorders are releasing their first official book with exhibition at Limb Gallery in Kaka‘ako’s growing artistic neighborhood. The exhibition is a multimedia exhibition by the group and features works not found in the book. Framed original works and a selection of original prints from the project will be available for purchase at Limb. The book will be available to purchase at R/D.
Wake Up, We’re Here is a limited edition 110-page hard cover, case-bound book and will be the first photo book created by the collective the Analog Sunshine Recorders. Everyone is invited to take the visual journey through the lenses of 8 individuals with cameras in a single van for 18 days, crossing 5,000 miles of the great American landscape.
Funded through Kickstarter in less than 12 hours, Wake Up We’re Here marks the collective’s move into independent publishing. Sales of the book supports this and future projects.
